Dr K Aravinda Rao, IPS, retired as the Director-General of Police of united Andhra Pradesh state. His rich and vast experience in policing and administration as a top-cop and Anti-Naxal expert, Dr Aravinda Rao played an important role in effectively dealing with Left-wing extremism in AP. , During his distinguished career in the police, security and safety departments, Dr Aravinda Rao served as the Additional Director General of State Intelligence Department the Additional Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, Inspector General of Police (Greyhounds) and IGP (Crime Investigation Department). He also holds a PhD in Sanskrit and has authored several books on Sanatana Dharma.

He has also adeptly woven ancient Vedic wisdom with practical knowledge and rendered several online lectures on various subjects relating to Adavita, Shankara Bhashyam, Upanishadsm Bhagvad Gita to name a few.

Dr Aravinda Rao has been the recepient of several awards and was also conferred with the honorary title of ‘Vachaspati’ by the Rashtriya Vidya Peetham, a deemed university of GOI for his valuable service to the field of Sanskrit studies.

Pramod Kumar is currently an Assistant Professor at the Amrita Darshanam Centre for Cultural and Spiritual Studies, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, where he is also pursuing his PhD in Indian Knowledge Systems. His academic background includes an M.A. in History from the University of Madras (2017) and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras (2000). Prior to thatJay had a varied career in international business during which, for many years, he headed up IT within a multinational company and also worked in several roles within Process & Product Innovation, Business Strategy, Manufacturing Operations and Logistics. . A third generation African-born British Hindu, Jay has continued to discover, develop, and connect with his Indian roots by exploring his heritage through its rich, diverse, living traditions and culture and the variegated history of India.

Srinivas Mulugu is based in Hyderabad and is the Chairman for Sri Aurobindo Society, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. Prof. Jha did his M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Linguistics (Computational Linguistics) from JNU and did another MA in Linguistics (Natural Language Interface) from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, USA in 1999. He worked as a software engineer and software development specialist in USA before joining JNU in 2002. Candace Badgett is an International Director of the women’s wing of the Transcendental Meditation (TM) organization Global Mother Divine Organization with specific oversight in the US, Canada and Australia. In this capacity, she also provides advanced programs for women practitioners of Transcendental Meditation and the TM-Sidhi program.

Candace graduated from Maharishi International University, in Fairfield, Iowa in 1975, and received a PhD from Maharishi European Research University, Vlodrop, The Netherlands, in 2007, after completing a two-year course under Maharishi’s direct guidance. She became a teacher of the TM program in 1975 and has taught TM worldwide.

By combining these efforts, we aim to create a sustainable, self-reliant rural economy that fosters environmental stewardship, enhances educational outcomes, and promotes economic growth.

Go-seva Initiative:
The Go-seva initiative focuses on transforming Gauvansh (includes cows & bulls) into valuable assets by promoting organic farming, production of Panchgavya products, and bio-CNG generation. By partnering with local Goshalas, we can produce organic manure and other products, which not only provide economic benefits but also promote sustainable agricultural practices and improve animal welfare. The income generated will be used to improve Gauvansh care and infrastructure.

Education and Skill Development:
Integrating traditional and modern education, this initiative empowers youth and women with the skills needed for sustainable living and economic independence. Setting up a modern gurukul complex, collaborations with local schools, temples, and NGOs will facilitate vocational training programs in organic farming, traditional crafts, and modern technologies. Educational facilities will offer courses in traditional knowledge, sports, arts, and modern sciences, fostering a well-rounded and skilled populace.

Environmental Sustainability:

Dr. Ankur Kakkar received his doctorate in History from the South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg, Germany. Dr. Kakkar is presently a Fellow at the Prime Ministers Museum and Library in New Delhi where he is working on the research topic titled “Rethinking Nationalist Education: A Study of Indigenous Enterprises (1880-1980)”. Suryanarayana Murty ASR is an Assistant Professor at Badruka School of Management. He received his Ph.D. from IIT Madras. His academic interests span operations management, supply chain analytics, sustainability, and cloud manufacturing. He served for a decade at the Indian School of Business, where he held academic and research capacities, contributing to course management and executive education. He has also worked in industry across roles in operations, consulting, and enterprise systems.

An alumnus of IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi, Switi’s early focus area had been to design, develop & implement world class enterprise systems. As an entrepreneur, she then developed technology to build a marketplace for farmers. Since childhood, I have been deeply involved in the Hindu community of the Greater Toronto Area — teaching tabla at Mandir, volunteering for pujas and festivals, and helping today’s youth discover the depth and relevance of Hinduism. Smita Srinivas specializes in economic development with a unique combination of scholarly and practical impact areas of economic development including technological innovation, industrial policy, knowledge and culture. She is the recipient of the Joan Robinson Prize (formerly Myrdal Prize) in 2015 by the European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy (EAEPE) and recognized as the 2021 Clarence E. Ayres Scholar from the Association for Evolutionary Economics (AFEE), USA. With a Ph.D. from MIT in economic development and technology planning and numerous fellowships at Harvard Kennedy School of Government’s Belfer Centre for Science and International Affairs, she has longstanding experience teaching students in the world’s leading universities, and in multiple departments and research centers. Her earlier degrees are in physics and mathematics.

Dr. Sabareesh.P.A is a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University. His multidisciplinary academic research at the Centre for Studies in Science Policy in JNU included areas of traditional medicinal knowledge, intellectual property rights and Indian philosophy of science with related research publications. Before joining JNU, Sabareesh has worked as a consultant with the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India. Dr. Ramakrishnan Sitaraman holds a doctorate in microbiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (USA), and has a long-standing interest in history, comparative theology and the humanities.
