Shri Avinash Dharmadhikari is a distinguished former IAS officer (1986 batch) who served Maharashtra in senior positions including District Collector (Raigad), Director – Women and Child Welfare, Director – State Archives, CEO of Ratnagiri & Amravati Zilla Parishads, and Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister. He pioneered innovative governance models such as Single Track Window System, Mahsul Nyayalay, Model Literacy Campaigns, and Gaav Kacheri for transparent, citizen-centric administration.
After voluntarily resigning from the IAS in 1996, he founded Chanakya Mandal Pariwar, a movement nurturing youth with national character and global competence. He later served as Director General, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (GoI) and Member, UGC Expert Committee on Life Skills (2019).
A renowned author, orator, and thinker, he has attended programs and given talks at global platforms including the UN Climate Conferences, WTO, IITs, and leading universities, and featured on Sansad TV, Jaipur Dialogues, and major podcasts like ANI, inspiring millions through his vision of ethical nation-building.
His acclaimed works include Aswastha Dashakachi Diary (Diary of a Decade of Agony), Nava Vijaypath, Swatantra Naagrik, 75 Soneri Pane (75 Golden Pages), and the poetry collection Ratra Gahirichya Tisrya Prahari – all reflecting his deep commitment to Dharma, democracy, and transformative leadership.
