Samir Kumar, a distinguished professional with a diverse background, is the founder of Cliq India Media Pvt Ltd. With an impressive academic record, Samir Kumar is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.
Before establishing Cliq India, Samir Kumar had a remarkable career journey. He served in esteemed positions at renowned global financial institutions such as ABN AMRO, Deutsche Bank, and RBS, working in London, Tokyo, and Singapore.
Additionally, he gained valuable experience in the public sector as an ex-IAS(allied) officer and later has also played a crucial role in building digital wing of India’s Public Broadcaster as the Head of Prasar Bharati News Services & Digital Platform (PBNS) over last 4 years. Prior to it he has also worked as the CEO of Hindusthan Samachar, a national news agency.
