Program Lead at INDICA and an author of best-selling novels, based on ancient Indian woman protagonists, Smt. Sai Swaroopa is also a recipient of the Stree Shakthi Award for her contribution to Indian Literature. She also mentors upcoming writers and conducts workshops and other training programs for aspiring novelists.
With Mahabharata, Indic History and Philosophy being her focus areas, she also seeks to see more of those themes making a presence in popular creative forms that celebrate Indian civilization. She is the curator of LitTales by Verandah Club – India’s largest immersive festival in literature, culture and civilization for children. She is also a panelist in various literary festivals, News Channels and cultural platforms
An MBA from IIT Kharagpur, she has also trained in Carnatic Classical music and has won a gold medal from TTD for her rendition of Annamacharya Kritis
