Richa Gautam is a Data Analyst and Writer by profession who has worked for several years in the corporate world, along with her advocacy efforts for Indian Americans since 2004.
Richa is Executive Director at Cares-Global, a human rights group that works with the rehabilitation of Pakistani refugees. She has regularly engaged with the United Nations in Geneva to advocate for girls and women in Pakistan. Her organization has sponsored delegates to European Parliament to depose on the Bangladesh atrocities on Hindu minorities. CaresGlobal has recently presented at United Nations Minority Commission regarding Bangladesh Hindu genocide. CaresGlobal has worked to support Sanskrit workshops in USA as well as support Gurukuls in Sonipat and Lucknow.
Richa has advocated for civil rights of H4 visa-holding women in the past and is a Data analyst she has several years of experience in the corporate sector, analyzing consumer behavior for Fortune 500s in the CPG and Pharma sectors globally. In recent years, she has utilized her research skills in AI-based analytics for Social Science projects and built documentation of the persecution of religious minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
CASTE AND CIVIL RIGHTS ADVOCACY
Richa is also Founder of Civil Rights Advocacy think tank, which runs two fact-based websites Castegate.org and Castefiles.com. The two platforms have successfully intervened to counter the fabricated Caste Narrative in the USA. CasteFiles legal intervention in the universities has been successful in stopping Caste surveys, Caste profiling and we have been featured in Forbes, Mother Jones, Religion News Service, Economic Times, The Hindu, OpIndia, DeccanHerald, IndiaWest, The Print, and several other publications for our pioneering efforts.
Richa has authored peer-reviewed research papers regarding c,aste, misconceptions and social inequality and published 4 papers in an academic anthology recently. She has written columns and articles under her byline for several news magazines and has been interviewed on many media channels. Richa is a senior researcher associated with the Center of Indic Studies at Indus University Ahmedabad. Her research focuses on decoding caste through the use of colonial and emic studies in Indic ethnology.
