Pujita Krishna

Pujita Krishna is a dancer, writer, and educator whose work bridges classical artistry and contemporary thought. Trained in Kuchipudi and Vilasini Natyam under eminent gurus, she holds an MFA in Dance from the University of California, Irvine. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of Feet on Earth, a dance studio and festival that celebrates the intersection of art, ecology, and culture.

A Doordarshan-graded artist, Pujita has performed at major venues including the Khajuraho Dance Festival, London, the Netherlands, the USA, and Australia. Her accolades include the Kamrupa Award, Ugadi Award (2014), IIDF Award (2016), Nritya Shiromani, and Yuva Kalaratna Award (2015).

An actor and television host, she has appeared in films, read news for Doordarshan, and hosted cultural programs for Citti Media. Currently, she works with ETS, Princeton, as an English Language Assessment Developer while continuing to perform, curate, and write on dance and culture.
