Prof Arbind Kumar Jha

Prof Arbind K Jha enjoys the distinction of having his Bachelor’s, Master’s, M.Phil. and Ph.D. — all degrees in Education from University of Delhi. Before joining Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, he was a Faculty, Head and Dean of School of Education at BB Ambedkar University, Lucknow, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala and Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha. He has held the positions of Director, Distance Education and Dean, Academics and Dean, Planning at MGAHV, Wardha. He has been a Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrators Fellowship Awardee for the year 2016-17 and Inspired Teacher Awardee by President of India to participate in in-residence programme at Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House), New Delhi in 2015. He is also credited with widely acclaimed books entitled “Nyaya Philosophy: Epistemology and Education” and “Constructivist Epistemology and Pedagogy: Insight into Teaching, Learning and Knowing.
