Capt. Praveen Chaturvedi is a Marine officer turned filmmaker, deeply rooted in Bhartiya culture. Guided by his Guru, Praveen explored Bharat’s philosophy, culture and sciences. His exposure to the world of filmmaking during his naval tenure sparked an enduring passion, prompting him to pursue formal Film training at USC and UCLA. Subsequently, he worked with some of the top studios like Universal Studios, Paramount, 20th Century Fox and best professionals of Hollywood. Inspired by his Guru, Praveen returned to Bharat in 2012 with the intent of fusing his passion for Bharat’s vibrant culture & heritage with the realm of cinema. He launched Prachyam, a film studio which is solely dedicated to making films on Bhartiya Culture, Heritage, History, Traditions, Philosophy and Sciences. Prachyam is now the world’s first truly Bhartiya & Hindu OTT platform. Prachyam has up until now made more than 400 films, videos, serials on Nationalistic and Bhartiya themes and is widely popular in Bharat and Bhartiya diaspora around the world.
