Narayan Dutt Mishra

Dr.Narayan Dutt Mishra, was an Ex Guest Faculty at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi, is Chief Editor cum Anchor of Vaartaavali, DDNews. He is known for his expertise in Sanskrit. He has contributed to Doordarshan’s Vaartavali, a program that features content in Sanskrit, often highlighting cultural, linguistic, or artistic elements. One documented instance of his involvement is as the editor of a Sanskrit translation of a Goalparia folk song titled “Koi Jab Tumhara Hriday Tod De” (translated as “यदा कोऽपि हृदयं हि ते भञ्जयेत्”), which aired on Vaartavali on November 15, 2020. The translation was done by Alok Kumar, and Mishra’s role as editor ensured the accuracy and authenticity of the Sanskrit rendition.
