Klara Maria Wirth

Maria Wirth stopped over in India enroute from Germany to Australia after getting her psychology degree from Hamburg University. She landed up at the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar in April 1980, had darshan of Sri Anandamayi Ma and Devaraha Baba and realised what amazing wisdom Bharat has. She wanted to dive into this wisdom and didn’t continue her journey to Australia.
She shared her insights in numerous articles, and 4 books – two in German and two in English. Her articles are in magazines, anthologies, websites, apart from her blog. She is also active on Twitter, Facebook and Quora. Her first English book is titled “Thank you India – a German woman’s journey to the wisdom of Yoga”, and her recent book is titled ”Why Hindu Dharma is under attack by Muslims, Christians and the Left – a collection of essays”.
