Khyati Gupta is a psychologist and researcher with a growing interest in Indic psychology. She is passionate about reconnecting with her cultural roots and contributing to the field through her academic and personal explorations.
She is particularly interested in the everyday expressions of bhakti that challenge colonial binaries such as “institutional vs private religion.” Her work also explores how family systems are constructed around the sacred, where the divine becomes embedded in the cultural consciousness of a Kula.
As a student at the beginning of her journey, she has pursued foundational courses in Indic knowledge systems, including Indic Psychology with Dr. Mala Kapadia, Caste System Theory with Dr. Sufiya Pathan, and Arthashastra with Prof. Mahadevan.
