Dr. K Pradeep is working Associate Professor in the Nitte Institute of Communication, Karnataka with 15 years of experience in academics and research. He completed his doctorate from Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at University of Madras.
Passionate about interdisciplinary research, he has been supported with 4 research funding from State and National levels. His research interests encompass in visual communication, film studies, television studies, neuroscience and media, neuro marketing, neuroaesthetics, and neuro education.
Recognized for his scholarly contributions, Acquitted with reputed awards such as the Global Eminence Research Award and the Prestigious IRDP Award for outstanding achievements in teaching, research, and publications. 2024 best researcher award from NASC, Coimbatore. He has presented 42 research papers at national and international conferences.
In addition to his teaching role, who contribute significant contribution to academia through 4 published books, 35 journals,10 edited volumes, and 8 chapters which are in national and international reputable journals. He published a patent for his work on “Persuasion Space, Visual Trigger, and Communication Design.”
Dr. Pradeep is actively involved in several research projects including the Neuroaesthetics of Indian Art supported by the Department of Science and Technology, aim to explore the aesthetic sense in Indian art, particularly focusing on sculpture, with a total grant of 48 lakhs. Additionally, the ICSSR Major project, “Neuroaesthetic of Art,” received 10 lakhs for its investigation into the intellectuality in the aesthetic beauty of Indian art from 2023 to 2025.
