Harini Rayadurgam

I worked in the IT industry for 12+ years. After that, for the past 14+ years, I have taught maths and science to students in creative ways and have developed innovative courses and methods to increase understanding, interest and fun in mathematics. In this journey, my research has taken me to the glorious Indian mathematical traditions and texts, which has inspired me to develop a pedagogy and curriculum that could change the attitude of students towards mathematics.
Currently working as Head of Dept for Ganitam at Agastya Gurukulam for the past 5 years, I have developed the curriculum and written ganitam textbooks for class 1 to 8 based on the ancient Bharatiya ganita texts under the guidance of Prof. K. Ramasubramanian, IIT Bombay.
We plan to start developing the curriculum for the classes 9 -12 also this year.
