Smt. (Dr.) Chhalamayi Reddy is a visionary educationist with over three decades of pioneering work in advancing Integral Education as envisioned by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. A graduate of Ohio University, USA, and Doctorate holder in Literature from Pondicherry University, she has been Principal of Sri Aurobindo International School (ICSE/ISC), Hyderabad, for three decades. She has championed teacher training, curriculum innovation, and parent engagement, many of which are reflected in India’s National Education Policy (NEP 2020).
She is Founder-Director of New Creation Residential School (2015) and Managing Trustee of Matridarshan Trust, which runs Aditi Gurukul for underprivileged children and supports rural development, women’s empowerment, and environmental initiatives. As former Convenor of the Eco-Wing (ICSE Schools, Hyderabad) and CISCE School Affiliation Inspector, she has significantly influenced policy and practice in education.
A frequent speaker and published author on Integral Education, she continues to orient educators across India. In 2024, she was instituted as Chairperson of the Institute of Human Study, Hyderabad, furthering the dissemination of Sri Aurobindo’s and the Mother’s works.
