Dr. M. Jayaraman, Professor & Dean, Division of Yoga and Spirituality at SVYASA Deemed University, Bengaluru, holds a Ph.D. in Samskrita from the University of Madras for his study *“The Doctrine of Tantrayukti – A Study”* (2006–2010). A gold medalist in both UG and PG, he received traditional Gurukula training in Vedas, Vedanta, and Yogashastra under Pracarya Kotemane Ramachandra Bhat at Veda Vijnana Gurukulam, Bengaluru.
He has authored 25 books and 23 peer-reviewed papers in Yoga and Samskrita literature. His notable projects include *Yogasya Bhasha* and *Yoga-vaisharadi*, promoting immersive learning in Yoga texts. His acclaimed workshops on *Tantrayukti* have positioned him as a key resource person in the Nationwide Faculty Training Program on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), training 1000 faculty members.
Recognized by the Maharaja of Mysore (2024), the Governor of Tamil Nadu (2023), and Karnataka Samskrita University (2021), he serves on academic and advisory boards including TKDL–CSIR, Kalakshetra Foundation, Indian Yoga Association, Kaivalyadhama, and Central Samskrit University, New Delhi.
