M. Pramod Kumar is currently an Assistant Professor at the Amrita Darshanam Centre for Cultural and Spiritual Studies, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, where he is also pursuing his PhD in Indian Knowledge Systems. His academic background includes an M.A. in History from the University of Madras (2017) and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras (2000). His research interests encompass Indian history, history of science and technology in India with focus on Indian Knowledge Systems, and cultural and spiritual heritage studies.
Kumar has contributed to academic discourse through journal publications, book chapters, and conference presentations on topics related to Indian Knowledge Systems. He has authored several book chapters in volumes published by established academic presses and has served as a book reviewer for Vedanta Kesari. Currently, he serves as Senior Consultant for the Technical Support Group implementing the National Curriculum Framework under NCERT for Indian Knowledge Systems.
