Sumitra Kukreti

Prof. Sumitra Kukreti holds the position of Dean, Faculty of Linguistics at MJP Rohilkhand University Bareilly(U.P). Having taught English literature and Western literary theories over three decades, she began reflecting deeply over the negative social and cultural implications of Western ideological frameworks( feminism and Marxism, deconstruction). This journey gradually drew her towards the timeless philosophical wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads. Now she encourages her students to embrace the knowledge system of Upanishads and The Gita and explore their contemporary relevance for a meaningful life.
