Siddhartha Dave

Shri Siddhartha Dave is an accomplished scholar, columnist, development professional, and educator with over three decades of cross-sectoral experience spanning India, South Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. A respected voice on foreign policy and national security, he is a regular columnist with Organiser, The Daily Guardian, Panchajanya, and Rashtriya Sahara, and frequently appears in television debates, particularly on issues concerning Israel and global diplomacy.

Currently, Shri Dave serves as the Co-Chairman of the Surat Economic Forum with SGCCI and is the Director of MarkSuccess Pvt. Ltd., an institution involved in training, research, and strategic communication. He is also an empaneled national resource person with the UGC’s Malviya Mission for Teacher Education, delivering Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and Bhartiya Gyan Parampara. As a Visiting Faculty at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, he teaches Vedic Jurisprudence and Indic Law Systems under the MA Hindu Studies program. His current academic research focuses on the Temple Village System in Ancient Bharat, drawing from deep insights in Vedic Shruti and Smriti literatures.

An alumnus of the Carter School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, George Mason University (USA), he pursued his academic path further with a Master’s in Communication Studies, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from the National Law School of India University, and advanced certifications from the United Nations University in Tokyo and the UNU International Leadership Institute in Amman, Jordan.

His rich professional journey includes key roles at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Peace Corps of Norway (Fredskorpset). He also served as General Manager (Capacity Building) at Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company (GLPC) and was awarded a Lok Sabha Research Fellowship (2018–20) for his contributions to policy and governance.

Shri Dave was awarded the prestigious FORUM-ASIA Fellowship (2006) and was selected by the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies (RCSS), Colombo, and Rotary International for their peace studies initiatives. He has represented India at numerous international forums, including the World Youth Peace Summit in Melaka (Malaysia) and Young Leaders’ One Degree Asia in Singapore. Notably, he has visited Pakistan twice as part of official delegations and has worked closely with policy makers, legislators, diplomats, and civil society leaders across regions.

As a peacebuilder, educator, and public intellectual, Siddhartha Dave continues to bridge ancient Indian wisdom with contemporary global challenges, while actively contributing to India’s intellectual and strategic ecosystem. He is also an aspiring agripreneur, committed to sustainable development and rural transformation.
